  • Dear Parents/Carers,

We hope you had a wonderful Spring bank Holiday Weekend!

  • Mindfulness Music

We all know that it has been a difficult and stressful time, being mindful of social distancing, working from home, as well as keeping the children entertained. We would like to support you to take care of your own wellbeing to unwind and listen to some frequency music, which has shown to help bring positive vibes and relax the mind.

  • Physical activities

Regular exercise has lots of health benefits to improve the fitness of your child/ren such as building a stronger heart, bones and healthier muscles. Watch the video to have some fun for the whole family too.

  • Rhyming games

For those of you who are going to start school in September this video is useful to start learning to read. The children will grow accustomed to first hearing and repeating the rhyming words and then identifying the words that rhyme.

  • Sock toss game for the toddlers

Use some folded socks and a bucket or laundry basket to enjoy a game of mini basketball. Try throwing the socks from varying distances. Siblings can play against each other or it can be played alone after you demonstrate the actions to your child.

  • Homemade sugar free treats

The kitchen is a great place to spend quality time with your child/ren and a perfect environment for them to learn through their senses. Cooking also offers great opportunity for the children to describe their actions, learn new words, to count and measure. Try making these sugar free treats for a healthy way to snack.
