Pinterest gave us lots of ideas for “Sensory Play”, it contributes in crucial ways to brain development of children as well as helping them work through their emotions.
The main benefits we found were:
- Children experience a longer period of fun, playing and exploring the with sensory elements.

- It provided opportunities for children to learn new vocabulary through play, observing and describing the properties of different material.
- The textures calmed and soothed the children by providing many opportunities for them to engage in active experiences.
